The wonderful track along the river Traisen guides you through the alpine cider quater of Lower Austria.
With the historical narrow-gauge railway of Mariazell and your bike at the baggage car you go to the city of Mariazell. You go back to the Steinschalerhof by bike along the bike track of the Traisen valley.

Our house king's meadow lies mountain side of the Gaisbühel and is reached easily by foot - or 2 minutes by bike - in about 7 minutes from the main house of the hotel, where the boarding takes place.
Your arrival with your bike is possible by Mariazellerbahn (english) as well!
