Nature Hotel Steinschalerhof
is one of the two Steinschaler Nature Hotels - Steinschalerhof and Steinschaler Dörfl.
Steinschalerhof is situated between Rabenstein and Kirchberg, in the wonderful valley of the Pielach in Lower Austria - not so far from Vienna (50 minutes).
This valley is also called the "Valley of the Cornelian Cherry" because of the countless European Cornel trees thriving in the area. The proximity to Mariazell - St. Pölten (25 km), Mariazell and Vienna (both just an hour drive away) make Steinschalerhof an attractive destination for visitors to our region.
The hotel itself is a refurbished and expanded former farmhouse typical of the region, surrounded by fascinating natural gardens. Our approach to hospitality and gastronomy is well represented by our slogan, "Zünftig und vernünftig", an expression that could be translated as "Tradition and common sense".

How to find us
Nature Hotel Steinschalerhof is easily accessable both by car and by train.
- By car: Highway A1 until the exit "St. Pölten Süd" ("St. Poelten South"), and then Road B39 from St. Poelten into the direction of Ober Grafendorf, Pielachtal.
- By train: At "St. Pölten Hauptbahnhof" (St. Poelten main station) change to the narrow gauge railway "Mariazellerbahn". The station "Steinschal - Tradigist" is located 150 meters from Steinschalerhof. (Let the staff know you are going to Steinschal Tradigist, so they stop for you.)
