House Königswiese (english)
A world of its own, our House Koenigswiese can easily be reached by foot in about 7 minutes from the main house of Steinschalerhof.
Its location, on the hillside of the Gaisbuehel, and its surroundings (1.5 ha of Nature Gardens) make it very unique among our properties.
The King´s Meadow
The meadow around the house is named after the family Koenig (meaning "King"), former owners of the meadow.
Wonderful view
You can enjoy excellent views to the valley and to the next village, "Kirchberg" from numerous benches around the house and the adjacent ponds.
Hiking
The Haus Koenigswiese lies on the hiking route to the top of the Gaisbuehel, a mountain with 500 meters altitude difference to the valley.
The "Dirndl hiking route" almost passes the entrance of the house.

At the House Koenigswiese we can offer you 12 double rooms with 2 living rooms, distributed on 3 floors.
With the extra beds, the house can host 36 people.

Practical information
The reception for guests for the house is located at the main building in the Steinschalerhof. During winter, the way leading to the House Koenigswiese is regularly cleared of snow, so there should be no problem to reach the house by car. House Koenigswiese has four entrances.
