Mariazell´s Advent
This impressive Advent before the phenomenal backdrop of the basilica will take place before the first Advent Sunday and all four Advent weekends. It starts on Thursday and lasts until Sunday.
Diverse Advent activities are on the large square in front of the Basilica and you are invited to marvel, participate and celebrate with the people.
The famous Mariazellerbahn drives through the snowy foothills of the Alps from the Steinschalerhof (english) direct there. Experience such a wonderful winter trip through the wild Mostviertel on this unique narrow-gauge railway.
