The unique Waterfall in the Ötscher nature park

Visiting the Trefflingfall is an impressive hiking trip in the romantic backdrop of the Nature Park Ötscher.

Set in an impressive waterfall with 130 m head of Treffling stream tumbles down into the Ötscherschlucht.

Not only is the waterfall itself is worth seeing, but also the romantic course of the river Erlauf which receives water from Treffling Bach.


Hiking Tipp

To the entrance of the Trefflingfall in Sulzbichl (by car only 4 km from Puchenstuben, or from the rail station with the Ötschizug - in the summer season).

From there walk on the Panoramastraße 6 kilometers to Trübenbach. Along the Erlauf downriver until Trefflingfall. From the Trefflingfall up to the starting point Sulzbichel (kiosk and parking).

Duration: ca. 2,5 hours.

Distributed in altitude total of about 350 m above the track.

The 2nd most popular waterfall in the Nature Park Ötscher.
