Old Saw Pub (Steinschaler Dörfl)

The old Pub is located in the buliding of an old saw. It belonged to the family Wieland and was bulit in the middle of the last century.
At that time the gate (description of the actual saw attachment) was built it was an already used gate that came from the lordship Schwarzenbach (in former times forst management Isbary).
Big Gate Saw
The gate saw is arranged as a big vertical gate. It was conserved during the modification. So you can still see it in the pub. That is why the pub is called "Old Saw pub".
The saw was operated by an 22 kilowatt electrical motor. The transmission line (380 V) of the Austrian Energy feed was way to weak for the motor. That means as soon as the saw was in service the electrical feed was really low. So the light started flickering which made it impossible to read.
