The Dirndl valley and the near sorrounding (Mostviertel) offers your group a variety of interesting and nice facilities.

The hart of the tour is a guided tour through the Steinschaler gardens (english) in conjunction with comprehensive and regional food (also with products from the gardens).

Gardens

Attractive one-day and multi-day excursions in the Dirndl valley. The Steinschaler Nature Hotels are your regional group basis! The Dirndltal and the Mostviertel region are rich in attractive destinations. Here you can see blocks around the Steinschalerhof with a short description. Tell us your wishes - we gladly matching program proposals; Your trips including times and Km-information. You can sleep in the Wildkräuterhotel Steinschalerhof. Steinschaler gardens (english): (show garden from March to November) Take advantage of the popular Steinschaler natural garden with guide issues such as e.g .: "Lazy Gardening" or "delightful edible Wild Herbs ".

Steinschaler gardens (english) are attractive, real natural gardens with approximately 1,000 different plants on incredible 48,000 m². Try the variety and culinary delights of the garden in the terminal in the restaurant.

The Steinschaler cuisine is known for its regional and delicious wild herbs dishes. Your participants will enjoy eating the fresh organic garden products in the Steinschaler Restaurant.

Discover Dirndl

Around the "National Fruit" Dirndl there are some special dates in the Dirndl valley.

Dirndl Blossom Trips
From about mid-March, about 50,000 Dirndl shrubs can be admired in the Valley of the Dirndl in bloom. Very early in the spring, the Dirndl is the first flowering plant. Our explanatory introduction for the guests and a short bus ride brings these the Spring Nature closer.


Dirndl Harvesting Period
The Dirndl can be seen in their red color at a tasting and at a hiking tour or at a garden walk. It is also possible to show the many harvest sites (networks) off the bus when driving . From mid-August to late September, the carrying dirndl fruit perennials can visited and their fruits can be tasted.


The Dirndlkirtag
This regional festival takes place annually on the last weekend in September. Experience our delicious brand fruit the "Dirndl", in all its facets. Take Steinschalerhof as a base and station.
See the "Dirndl Plant Nursery" in the Steinschaler gardens (2,500 Dirndl perennials are raised here). To the Dirndlkirtag you only need some minutes.
