Sugessted stations - with more details

Our suggested activities:

1. Milk can targeting
Participants are throwing balls at a milk can, for every hit they will receive a point.

2. Wood sawing (weight) Participants have to saw a 200 g piece of wood from a trunk. They have several trials and then have to discuss within the group which piece enters in the contest. The team which is closest to the target weight is the winner. Popular with thinkers!

3. Zenzi milking
Participants are milking Zenzi, our plastic cow within a certain time frame. Then the “milked” water in the bucket will be measured.

4. Hay bale throwing
Participants are trying to throw a small hay bale the furthest possible. Then the distance will be measured.

5. Cowpat throwing
Participants are throwing “cowpats” (of course made from Styrofoam) towards another participant, who is trying to catch the cowpat with an apron. For every caught cowpat they will receive a point.

6. Cornelian Cherry pit target spitting
Participants are spitting the pits of the Cornelian Cherry, the signature fruit of our valley, into a bucket. For every hit they will receive a point.

7. Fire brigade
outdoor activity, only possible if the weather is nice
Participants have to work together as a team to fill a bucket with as much water as possible. One team member is pumping the water with an old fire extinguisher and the others are holding the hose up so that the water goes into the bucket.

8. Horseshoe throwing
outdoor activity, only possible if the weather is nice

Participants are throwing horseshoes at a target at the floor (wooden cross with 5 sticks). They will receive points for hitting the four outer sticks and bonus points for hitting the stick in the middle.

9. Skiing This popular activity is usually at the end of every Alpine Olympics. 5 team members have to step in a pair of large wooden “skis” (wooden planks with loops for the feet) and then march in lockstep a certain distance the fastest possible. The leader is responsible for telling people when to lift their left/right foot. There are two runs for every group. All the other groups are the spectators and usually having a lot of fun watching.

prizes for the winner team

Of course we are more than happy to help you with the organisation of regional prizes. E.g.: wooden signs or regional products (ginger bread hearts ect.]
Please contact us for details!

advisors of the stations

Every station necessarily needs an advisor. Two advisors are provided and included. Your are welcome to supervise stations by yourself as well. We are happy to instruct you.

If you wish only hotel staff to supervise your stations, they will be calculated on time.

duration and analysis

Normally the alpine olympics take you about two hours, depending on the number of participants. (For more than 100 pax you need a bit longer)

For every station there will be a winner analysis. As mentioned we are happy to help you with the prizes of the winner teams. Please do not hesitate to contact us!

audience

It is funny to have less stations than teams. So there is always a group who can watch and root for the others.
