We were very pleased to get to know you at the EFTC Workshop last week in Vienna. As I promised, you find below some standard offers for our tourist trains “Wachaubahn” and “Reblaus Express”:
Offer n° 1: Ferry boat + train ride WACHAUBAHN

Arriving with your own bus from the west to Melk>
Having left the A1 –Highway at Melk in the direction of Krems, you go to the village of Arnsdorf.
* Crossing the river Danube by rope ferry from Arnsdorf to Spitz an der Donau
** a little boat trip, lasting about 15 minutes

At the station of Spitz an der Donau, you take the Wachaubahn railway to Krems an der Donau
* Departure from Spitz: 15:13 or 18:13
* Arrival at Krems: 15:45 or 18:45

At Krems, your bus is awaiting the group – either to go on to Vienna or to visit Krems…

The price of this standard program:
* including the ferry boat and the train ride, is € 11,00 / person (incl. 10% VAT)

If you add this program to your bus ride to Vienna, you have to estimate about 1½ hours for this “detour”.

Of course, the above program can be extended, for instance by a wine-tasting session or a guided tour to the monastery of Dürnstein.

• Arrival with your own bus at Melk Abbey
• Visit of the world famous baroque Abbey
• Transfer by your own bus to Arnsdorf / landing place of the rope ferry
• Crossing the Danube by rope ferry from Arnsdorf to Spitz an der Donau
• Ride on the Wachau train from Spitz an der Donau to Krems an der Donau
Departure from Spitz: 15:13 or 18:13
Arrival at Krems: 15:45 or 18:45

The all-inclusive-price (admission fee to Melk Abbey + ferry boat + train ride) is € 22,00 / person (incl. 10% VAT)
